The park is named after a farm that used to sit on Whitburn Road, just South of the bridge over Bathgate Water; the farm still appears on a 1960s OS map. It is quite a decent size, tucked away between residential areas on three sides and bounded by farmland on its West side. It is overseen by the council and community volunteers and is obviously well looked after - it had a revamp between 2015-2017 according to their Facebook page - and there are plenty of paths to choose from.
