The lake is usually occupied by sailors and windsurfers from Nottinghamshire County Sailing Club http://www.ncsc.org.uk. Today it was the turn of birdwatchers and walkers to see the sights, in this case a herd of black sheep in the middle of the picture. Despite the sun, it was a bitterly cold day with the strong breeze evident on the surface of the lake.
