Just east of the main crossroads in Hipperholme on the south side of the A649 Wakefield Road is a Brayshaw & Booth of Liversedge casting set on a backing stone. One of the 615 posts erected by the family firm of Gill and Frank Stead of Mirfield for the West Riding CC in 1893/94. This casting has a slight crack on the front edge. The bottom, partly hidden, legend on the righthand side is CLECKHEATON/4¼ MILES
