In Harley on Dike Hill just east of the entrance to old houses and opposite a grate in the gutter. In 1992 all the legends were just legible but now it is only possible to make out Barnsley/6. In 2016 flagstones were put upright to hold the banking back from the pavement but space left to show the stone. It is one of two remaining stones from the 1764 turnpike through Wentworth which joined the Wakefield, Barnsley and Sheffield turnpike ½ mile to the west. It was given the wrong Milestone Society ID. It is now YS_RMBN06 being 3 miles from YS_RMBN03. The previously submitted photo was actually taken in November 2016.
