The sign is surmounted by the coronation crown of Queen Elizabeth II and the date 2002, the fiftieth anniversary of the coronation. The shield itself is quartered bearing the silhouettes of a sheaf of corn representing the agricultural heritage of the village, the church of All Saints, two pigs peeking over a fence, representing the piggery at Walnut Tree Farm, and a tree with rooks in the branches representing the rookery on The Green. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4291012
