A large notice was placed on the slide in late 2020, meaning a house will be built on the site soon by Herefordshire Council. I feel unfortunate for forgetting to take a photo of the playground in April 2020 when I was cycling in the large grounds of Bridge Street Leisure Centre. I remember going to this playground once in the early 2010s and it was more popular compared to now. The new build may look out of keeping with the 1980s houses on Oldfields Close but who knows.
