The large brick building is Castlegate House, featuring shops on the ground floor and apartments above. It faces onto Bath Street and was completed in about 2003. In the foreground to the right are the Alpha Cottages, Grade II listed, featuring a rendered frontage and restored from a derelict state in 2002-3. Viewed from churchside Walk.
