A happy, friendly and prosperous-looking bunch of ducks. We exchanged a few pleasantries, a few quacks back and forth between me and them, then between themselves and I chatted to them in human too. They seemed happy to see me, despite it being near their bedtime and I think that they agreed that I was more amenable than many passing walkers, less corny than most and seemed reasonably well versed in duck etiquette, though by no means an obvious duck aficionado. We parted on good terms and I stated for the record that I hoped to see them again some time.
