On the north side of the A684 to the west of Bainbridge on Pry Hill is another of the replacement mileposts set up by the Yorkshire Dales National Park in 2017. A very old photograph taken in the 1980s shows a large piece broken from the top bevel of the Mattison of Bedale casting. The Mattison hands have the index finger pointing the way. The 2017 hands have the thumb tucked down over the other fingers.
