On the east side of the B6114 is a newly restored (2020) stone from the series of 615 set up in 1893/94 for the West Riding CC. This is only one of two in this area that have had the parish name added on a plate. The stone has been painted white but originally they were left bare when the family firm of stonemasons, Gill and Frank Stead of Mirfield, erected these posts. The foundry name, Brayshaw & Booth of Liversedge, is on the bevel.
