Overlooking the Knavesmire. Located on the East side of road, on verge opp Knavesmire Manor. Metal plate attached to stone post, WR casting design, 19th century. Inscription reads: TADCASTER / 8 MILES / LEEDS / 22 MILES // YORK / 1½ MILES // TADCASTER & HOB MOOR / ROAD / YORK CITY Grade II listed by Historic England. Milestone Society National ID: YN_TCYO08
