Much of the large Cawston Grange Estate has a firmly established feel nowadays but development is still taking place at the far southern end around Trussell Way. Linden Homes are building their 'The Spinneys' development here - the name was no doubt inspired by the proximity to Brickyard Spinney and Cawston Spinney. In this view Brown Close leads off to the right and the sign directs drivers to the marketing suite. Trussell Way is named after Margaret Trussell, daughter of Edward Boughton who built Cawston Hall in 1585.
