This 17th century cottage at number 9 Falcon Square, has had the internal garage converted into living accommodation. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1122975 Castle Hedingham is a small village in Essex about 15 miles north west of Colchester. The village developed around the Norman castle and is home to a large number of timber framed medieval buildings. The village’s railway station which was opened in 1867, closed in 1964 and was dismantled and rebuilt in 1974 on a new site to the north west of the village by the Colne Valley Railway Preservation Society.
