Looking north-west from the Oozells Street Loop, towards Ladywood Junction where the Main Line to Wolverhampton continues. The Oozells Street Loop is a remnant from the original James Brindley 1772 line to Wolverhampton, which was straightened by Thomas Telford between 1823 and 1838 (1827 by this section).
