Bournemouth: Central House and Hurn House

Central House is dwarfed by its younger, concrete neighbour, Hurn House. The latter is student accommodation of Bournemouth University, and at least some of its floors were converted from a car park. Central House was demolished a few years after this photo was taken, and replaced by Union House - similarly to Hurn House comprising student accommodation and with more than a passing resemblance.
