The former High Street Baptist church was built in 1812 in gault brick with red brick dressings. It ceased to be a church when a new wooden built church was opened in November 2019. It may now be in domestic use. Isleham is a rural fenland village situated about 6 miles north of Newmarket and some 7 miles south east of Ely. The village is renowned for the Isleham Hoard of more than 6500 pieces of bronze from the late Bronze Age. The priory of St Margaret of Antioch was founded in the village circa 1090.
