We had been dropped off by a substitute bus from Dyce at the far side of the bridge and told to carry our cases across it, only to realise later that the single decker coach could have come under the railway bridge and dropped us off right next to this platform! The superstructure (deck and railings) looks modern, probably from when the station buildings were replaced in 1999, but by comparing Image taken in 1971 it seems the supporting ironwork is original of c.1854.
