Number 5 North Street is probably 17th century. Timber framed and rendered with a two level thatched roof. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1126426 Wicken is a small village some 10 miles north east of Cambridge and 5 miles south of Ely. There are traces of occupation from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods. The village is the site of Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve.
