The pair of lodges and Ionic screen once served as an elegant precursor to Hooton Hall, pulled down in the 1930s. By Samuel Wyatt, 1778. Grade II* listed. Neatly slotted into the centre is the war memorial. Online sources state that it was unveiled in 1920, i.e. while the house was still standing, which seems odd. Grade II listed.
