The congregation is joint Methodist/URC; this building opened in 1993 and designed by architects JH Langtry-Langton of Bradford replaced the old Methodist chapel of 1810. The modern building is single-storey, square in plan with a low-pitched roof and resembling a typical care home more than a place of worship. Only the cross, and a notice board fronting the road, gives away its function. It is however of a similar design to the same architect's URC building at Moldgreen in Huddersfield Image
