Cherry Hinton Brook rises from the chalk at Giant's Grave in Cherry Hinton and joins the River Cam at Stourbridge Common. The bay-windowed last house on Brookfields is Hinton Villa, and both routes to the left, Burnside, leading to Snakey Path beside the brook, and the path over the railway to Coldham's Lane, lead to Cherry Hinton.
