The road junction ahead has an odd layout with two roads converging on the B4428 which takes a right-angled bend to the left. It appears to be a crossroads on the map but doesn't operate as one which could be potentially confusing. The sign in the foreground points to the Denbigh Arms at Monks Kirby and the building on the immediate left is Street Ashton Farm which looks to be descending into dereliction.
