This footbridge crosses the Brian Clough Way (A52) just to the West of the roundabout and therefore links the two sections of Bramcote. I'd always assumed that the long shallow ramps by which it is accessed were for disabled access, but it turns out that they consist of those horrible steps about three inches high every yard or so. An eyesore - but photogenic!
