Birdingbury had a population of 362 at the 2011 census. It is a pleasant enough place with a rural air and a broad main street but is not in any sense a chocolate-box showcase village. A high proportion of its houses are relatively modern and its church is a slightly odd-looking Georgian/Victorian hybrid tucked away to the north. This is the view down Main Street past the war memorial.
