Stars on the Wall

At the entrance to Plymouth Ferryport metal stars are attached to the wall to commemorate famous Americans who landed here after crossing the Atlantic by ocean liner. The two stars featured here commemorate the arrival of Judy Garland on the Ile de France in 1951 and of Bing Crosby on the Liberte in 1952.
