This road outside the railway station is where many of the town's bus services start and terminate. The area is earmarked for proposed and much needed redevelopment. The office block is called Thames Tower. The bus in the centre is one of a number painted in the blue and white hoops of Reading FC to celebrate their promotion to the Premiership in 2006. The green one is ecologically friendly one.
