The train is approaching Cheddleton Station with the locomotive running tender first. There are three S160 2-8-0 freight engines - one at the end closest to the photographer and two at the far end. One of the two at the far end is blowing off excess steam through its safety valves. this was a spectacular fund-raising event but the weather was flat. The original event in 2019 was cancelled due to torrential rainfall that flooded the line.
