High Light, Back Bath Terrace, Blyth

This lighthouse, which is Grade II Listed, was built between 1780-90 and was subsequently heightened twice in the latter part of the 19th century and the early part of the 20th century. The lighthouse was operated in conjunction with the Low Light until 1985, when it was superseded by modern navigation aids on a different alignment.
