This is one of those photographs I have to put down to my desire to learn to take better photographs rather than a subject that was of interest to me at age 16 with my first 35mm camera and part way through my very first slide film (Agfa CT18). I surmise that my parents and I had walked to Stratton from Bude, where we were on holiday. Although the van looks a little dated now, the Mini looks familiar enough, and I would be surprised if the scene 47 years later looks much different, unlike most of my old photos where the vehicles really do look as though they are from another age.
