This former London & South Western Railway signal box was originally built on the south side of the line between Farnham & Alton. Built of lighter design than standard boxes, it was an all timber construction because of its location on an embankment. It had a 30 lever frame and controlled the junction with the former Bordon Branch which extended to the Longmoor Military Railway. The box was taken out of use in December 1976, dismantled and removed to the Mid-Hants Railway in bitterly cold weather of winter 1977.
