Work on the intersection near East Ella Drive. This is part of extensive resurfacing work on most of the western part of Anlaby Road. It began in late September 2020 and was scheduled to continue into February 2021. The works have been delayed and re-scheduled due to the need for emergency repairs to a crack found in the base of the road. The council is simultaneously carrying out similar improvements to other major roads in the city, including Hessle Road and Holderness Road.
