The 1840s hotel is listed grade II* (List entry 1258434) but in recent years had been converted to rental apartments Image The Prince of Wales's crest is on the tympanum above the porticoed entrance - the listing for the nearby Spa says it was "frequented by the Prince of Wales" so presumably he stayed here and bestowed the royal warrant.
