Eau for river and Ton for settlement equals Elephant and Tun? There is no history of elephants in Eaton unless a circus once passed this way. The River Yare is represented by reed in the spandrels and the crests relate to the City of Norwich, but are so badly in need of repainting are barely recognisable as such. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6694147
