Back in the early 90’s Shaftesbury Square Social Security Office was damaged by a bomb. Most bomb damage was repaired quite quickly – often within days. This one, however, was not and might now be the only one of its genre left. It features pre-cast concrete panels – a fashion of the late 60‘s/early 80’s. The SSO is now in Gt Victoria Street.
