The Edinburgh Castle is a former Whitbread pub on the corner of Blossom Street and Henry Street. It dates back to 1811. Currently it is submerged under scaffolding. I understand that the pub is to preserved and will open again once all the building work is completed. Update: The pub re-opened in November 2019.
