The A21 was by-passed in 2005 and this is the former A21 just before Grantham Hall. Beyond Grantham Hall it has been narrowed by nature up to the northern end of the Lamberhurst By-pass - see https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6684079 As can be seen in many places the old white lines and cats' eyes are still visible.
