Looking across Pont Llangybi along the old course of the A485 (the road has now been diverted to the east) through Llangybi village in the south-east of this grid-square. The large village of Llangybi is 4 miles north of Lampeter and has a variety of amenities including a school, a shop and several places of worship, the entrance to one of which (the parish church of St. Cybi) can be seen on the left at the end of the bridge wall.
