St Helen's Square has some fine buildings grouped around it, one example being this Italianate style property of 1846/7, built originally for the Yorkshire Insurance Company. The lower floors are now 'Harkers' bar and restaurant. A pity the impressive wooden doors have been replaced by plate glass.
