Cotton spinning mill with large engine house for a Carel (Belgium) engine. Shame it is without chimney. The rope race has apparently been converted to a climbing wall. This view well captures the ornate stair tower and office block. It would appear this was designed to be enlarged to a double mill but, like several others, this was not executed. Certainly the large power output of the engine at 2500 horsepower would support that.
