Mundesley has three signs all with the same theme, the oldest pub in Mundesley, the Old Lifeboat Inn, which dated back to the early 1800s. Whether it ever looked like the artist has painted it is a matter for discussion, but it is still there at 10, Cromer Road. The boat represents the lamented longshore fishing industry which once existed off the Norfolk coast.
