A relatively new sign, it has many elements. Starting at top and working down, we see the tower of Holy Trinity church, the swan is there not only for the Swan Inn, but the mark on its beak shows the right and importance of stating the ownership of the swans, by the Lord of the Manor in the past. The cricket bat and ball represents the cricket club in the village. Agriculture is represented by the sugar beet, maize cob and ear of wheat. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6674258
