The County Court and the old Magistrates' building, on the west side of Encombe Place, dates from 1860-65. It has now been converted into apartments. The Court House, together with its attached gates and railings, is a Grade II listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1386186 https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1386186 ).
