Like the others there, the road closest to the coast at the former caravan site has been closed to motor vehicles for many years. It sees foot traffic, however, as people staying at the Trecco Bay Holiday Park just to the east of here walk to and from Porthcawl’s fair and amusements or town centre. National Cycle Network Route 88 also passes along the road. The bicycle symbol on the ground seen in the image is one of several on the course of this cycle route though the former caravan site.
