On the A71 at Muirhall Mains, just west of the Station Road junction. On the OS 1st Edition 1852 map it is noted as Edinburgh 18, Ayr 53. This would have been on the lost rectangular plate noted by the lead plugs in the holes. There is a bench mark on the left hand side. It is on one of the Calder District Trust roads but is not the usual shape of their stones. Note for moderator - this is a pic with the date removed.
