This mill was built in 1825 on the site of an earlier mill that burnt down. It is of fireproof construction with an internal engine house and the full height plinth of a demolished chimney. It was used for lace production. Originally owned by Wheatley & Co it later was owned by Boden & Co. This site is now being redeveloped with some loss of curtilage listed buildings. Plans include a leisure centre but a planned library has not been funded.
