One of 8 stones remaining in an arc with a radius of 5 miles from the old GPO at 16-24 Waterloo Place from Queensferry Road in the west to Fisherrow in the east. They were erected in 1824 to regulate the payment of the Post Horse Duties payable by Hackney Coach. This one is on Queensferry Road, Cammo near to No 19 Cammo Crescent. It was restored sympathetically in 1924.
