Another view of the Post Horse Duty stone in Corstorphine. It was once on the main road to Glasgow but removed sometime after 1850 and used as a garden ornament in Dunsmuir House. When the house was demolished it was set up on the grassy area nearby. These stones are unique to Edinburgh and were set in a 5 mile radius from the original GPO at 16-20 Waterloo Place. Eight are still in situ.
