The Google car came up here and went past a 'private road' sign and all the way to Hainworth. The surface looked smooth all the way, but is isn't now. There are many potholes, some full of water, and at the bend before reaching Hill Top there are sections of the road covered with coarse broken stone, presumably to fill large holes. There has probably been severe erosion of the surface by heavy rain.
