There is little doubt that this sign was a millennium project. The sign depicts agricultural scenery represented by pasture, woodland, wetlands, arable and meadowlands. The street scene in the background shows amongst other recognisable buildings, the church and the Swan pub. Two jockeys ride their steeds along the high street, a tribute to Geoff Hubbard, who owned and trained a string of high-class chasers and was resident in the parish.
