Waiting to find out if it is to be closed down. There is another one just over half a mile (one kilometre) south west. This has been here four years since moving from the other side of the road. What a pity the posting box did not follow! Luckily the sub-postmaster and his wife are very helpful. Closed down September 2008. In 2023 the premises is occupied by Co-operative Funeral Care, and has been for many years.
